As Vice President of Vector Systems, Ken Smith offers 30 years of operations management experience in a broad range of industries and environments. Prior to joining Vector systems, Smith was most recently interim President and COO of Organ Transport Systems, Inc., an early-stage medical device company. His experience also includes leadership roles at EPI Technologies, Gleason Components Group, and Tandy Electronics Manufacturing, among others. As "employee #6" for Compaq Telecom Corporation (CTC), he helped introduce the world's first integrated voice/data executive workstation, the Telecompaq®, and supervised the operations start-up of CTC’s 40,000 square foot Dallas assembly plant.
Ken served in the United States Navy as a nuclear-qualified Surface Warfare Officer. He earned a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the U.S. Naval Academy and an M.S. in Industrial Administration from University of Dallas.
